Benefits of Cashews

Benefits of Cashews:

1. Lowers High Blood Pressure:

Cashew nuts lower your blood pressure with the help of magnesium present in them.

2. High in Vitamins:

Cashew nuts are rich in vitamins like riboflavin, pantothenic acid, thiamin, niacin, vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, all of which are important for maintaining good bodily function.

3. Mental Health

Cashews are rich in important amino acids, and omega 3 fats. All of these nutrients directly ward off mild depression and anxiety naturally. Cashews contain the amino acid trytophan and this amino acid is critical for improving the uptake of serotonin in the brain and acts as a direct precursor to the anti-depressant hormone itself. So a handful of cashews a day can help keep the depression blues away!

4. Vision Health:

Cashew nuts have a great impact on your eyes. They contain lutein and zeaxanthin which acts as an antioxidant and protects your eyes from UV rays.

5. Dental Health:

Cashew nuts contain acids that can kill bacteria and protect your teeth from tooth decay.
